Netgear Wna1100 Setup

I had this wireless adapter for a while now (I know Ethernet is better but my PC is 50-75 feet from the router) but I updated to windows 10 and the past 3 drivers (Latest included) support windows 10. My computer can automatically give it a driver (802.11ac Wireless LAN Card) but its not the driver made for it. However the driver made for the adapter cant detect the adapter and therefore I cant install it.
This is an issue as I am a gamer (On wireless I know but I did get 30ms in every game) and I stream occasionally and I can no longer do these things as the 'assigned' driver isn't stable (802.11ac Wireless LAN Card) and is giving me ping spikes of 400ms+ and packet loss. Please help me fix this. This will help me and any others with the same issue.
I have been doing some digging around and it seems as though nobody has a working fix. Thanks to advance for every that is helping out.
UPDATE:
I have found a solution and it works to an extent.
I will label this in steps to make it easier for everyone with this issue to fix it.
Please read the whole step before proceeding as this will make sure the driver installs properly.
1. Open/Run and go through the installer for the adapter but please read the rest of Step 1 before doing so.
If you're not on the computer with the issue then download it and put the installer on a USB and plug it into the computer with the issue.
DO NOT click Yes when it says it says to insert the adapter and search for it. Before hitting yes, insert the adapter and move on to Step 2.
2. Open the Device Manager and Find the Windows Version of the Driver.
Click on the start Menu and start typing 'Device Manager' and then open it.
Click on the 'Network Adapters' down arrow, then look for something similar to 'Wireless LAN Card'
(If its not there, right click 'Network Adapters' and click 'Scan for hardware changes' it should pop up)
Now right click it and hit properties.
3. Now that you have open the properties, click on the 'Driver' tab and pay very close attention.
Click on 'Update Driver...'
Now click 'Browse my computer for driver software'
Then click 'Lat me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer'
4. Now that you see a list of drivers you can install, the first one is usually the Windows Version of the driver. You should see one that says 'Netgear' in it. That is most likely your driver.
If there are more than one driver that look exactly the same, dont worry. They are sometimes copies.
Click on it and hit next.
5. Now that it is installing, wait for it to say its done. When its done now hit Yes in the driver software where it says to insert the adapter. It should say it has successfully updated.
I hope this in depth step by step guide helps a few people. If it doesnt, I hope you find your solution soon, I know this issue can be frustrating.
